Looking for a loving familiy home

Small dog with a big personality!

  • About

Buzz is a cheerful and cuddly little fella.

Buzz was abandoned on the street in the summer of 2022 as a very young dog. Due to his good and sweet nature, the other dogs on the street accepted him well. Our rescuer regularly fed him and arranged for him to be vaccinated.  He lived there until September 2023 when he disappeared for a few days.  Our rescuer looked for him everywhere and after a few days found him with a broken leg and a severe ear injury. He was taken to the vet and Buzz had ear and leg surgery; including implants for his broken leg. During examination he was also found to have a bullet in his leg.  The bullet and implants will be removed.

Buzz is recovering very nicely and is not expected to have any ongoing issues from his surgery.  X-rays and information will be supplied to any future adopter for their vet.

Buzz is now living safely in a foster home and he lives together with 4 other dogs and 4 cats. He is excellent with people, other dogs and cats.

Buzz is a lovely cute dog and has a cheerful nature.  Buzz likes to play, run and cuddle.  He is an all round perfect little chap.

Buzz is fully vaccinated and neutered and he is around 2 years old (Jan 2023).

Buzz has tested positive on a routine screening test for Anaplasmosis.  This is a fairly common tick- borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans, it is treated with a course of 30 days of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice received. Buzz does not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis and has received his 30 day course of treatment and he will be retested in due course. This is a useful information sheet on Anaplasmosis, please contact the team if you have any questions https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/anaplasmosis-in-dogs

All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
