Asha

Asha is gorgeous! Asha is an absolute sweetheart, and despite her hard life, she remains sweet and loving.  She really is a great dog!

 

Asha was abandoned together with her puppies near a busy road and all of them were full of ticks and fleas and very hungry. The family was moved to the centre of town where they would be safer.  We dewormed them and gave them protection for ticks and fleas and fed them regularly. One by one puppies disappeared (we hope they were adopted) and Asha remained on the streets alone. In August 2023 she passed through the city spay and neuter program only to be returned to the street. In Serbia it is the norm for some to assume that as she is a big dog, she’s dangerous, so she ended up in the city pound. Thankfully our wonderful rescuer found a sponsor for Asha she is now safe in a pension.  Asha is now very happy.

 

Asha is a lady and is perfect with other dogs and people.  She has good manners, she is calm and intelligent.  She is medium/large in size (20 kg) and is vaccinated and spayed.

 

All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
