Meet Everest
Everest is male and a handsome lad - we think he is possibly a retriever cross. He is approximately three years old so again quiet a young dog that has ended up in the pound.
He was in good condition when he first arrived but sadly after he was castrated he became very weak. With the help of Balkan Underdogs his rescuer was able to take him to see the vet for treatment and move him to a pension where he has now made a full recovery. He is vaccinated, castrated and negative for brucellosis.
He is an extremely cuddly dog. You can see from the pictures how happy he is when his rescuer visits to give cuddles. He loves to be with people and he is also practicing to walk on a lead. He is friendly with the other dogs in the pension and his rescuer has introduced him to a cat and he was quite calm. He would need to be tested further.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
