Heather
Female spaniel/setter (we think!) mix, medium in size.
Approx. 2 years old (December 2025).
Friendly, affectionate dog who gets on with other dogs.
Meet Heather
Heather is a beautiful young female, we think maybe a spaniel/setter mix and medium in size. Heather is a gentle, sweet girl. She is very friendly with people and friendly with all other dogs.
She recently had a cough and became weak after sterilisation, but she received vet treatment and antibiotics and has now made a full recovery.
Heather would make a wonderful companion for any family who enjoys walks and gentle, affectionate dogs.
Heather is spayed, vaccinated and negative on tests.
Message from Heather:
The pound that I live in is not a great pound at all, I do not get out of my enclosure and the BU team cannot get me travel ready whilst I am here. If you would like to adopt me it would be wonderful if you could contribute towards sponsoring me out of the pound and into a pension where I will get much better care, socialise with other dogs, exercise daily and I can be prepared for travel. The average cost for me to be safe in a pension is around 50euros a month. Thank you, love and licks, Heather. xxx
BU supports the pound with the help of our lovely pound sponsors to supply additional food, vaccines, flea and tick treatments and veterinary care when needed.
Our dogs are tested for the following conditions as part of our standard testing procedure - Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Lyme Disease, Ehrlichiosis and Brucellosis (Since 11th June 2021)
If you would like to be considered to adopt Heather, please complete the register of interest form on our website or contact us.
