Meet Josie
Josie is one of the three sisters found in Zeleznik where they were hiding in an area away from the street. Sadly, she was the only surviving puppy of the three siblings.
Josie was living with her mother, grandmother and one male, but as she grew she became a mom herself. All of her puppies were removed by locals. We have no idea what happened to them.
Josie loves her cuddles with humans! She is good with other dogs but, as an old soul, she can get a bit fed up with very bouncy, pushy dogs. She deserves a family of her own where she can get lots of love. Please consider this lovely lady who is so pretty and deserving.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
If you are interested in adopting Josie please register your interest here or contact us for more information.
Josie has been treated for and is fully recovered from heart worm, she has received our standard two negative tests after treatment including a lab Knott blood test and an ultrasound scan to ensure no lasting effects from the heart-worm have remained, these can all be supplied to Josie new adopter.
Heart-worm is fairly common in Serbia and is transmitted by a mosquito bite. We have many fully recovered dogs leading normal and full lives in the Uk after treatment. There is a video about heartworm in our video library on our website that provides information and can be found here
