Meet Maddie
The Posavac hound is an incredible breed, gentle, loyal and family orientated. Maddie is a real gem of a dog, happy, smiley and so friendly.
Maddie has spent most of her life living in a Government pound. She arrived in the pound with her puppies, and then she also took an orphan puppy under her wing. Sadly, despite Maddie being a super mom, none of the puppies survived.
Lucky for Maddie this pound is one of the best in Serbia and therefore she’s been well cared for and is an incredibly gentle and humble lady. Maddie is really loving and just craves human attention. She is good with other dogs, but is currently not child or cat tested. Maddie is medium to large in size (springer spaniel size).
Whilst many people think a dog that’s lived in a pound or shelter for so long may find it hard to adjust to life in a home, that’s not strictly true to our experiences. They seem to know how good life just got and our long termers seem to be the quickest to settle.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
