Meet Marion
Marion was found abandoned and living on the streets. For a while, one of our lovely rescuers was feeding her but felt she would benefit from a loving home so she appealed for sponsors and thanks to them, Marion was taken to safety. She is now in the safety of a boarding house.
Marion is great with other dogs and loves people. She is a calm and stable dog who adores children. She is very clean in her kennel. Marion would make a great family pet.
Marion is spayed and vaccinated.
She has tested positive on a routine screening test for Anaplasmosis. This is a fairly common tick- borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans. It is treated with a course of 30 days of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice received. Marion does not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis and has received her 30 day course of treatment. An information sheet on Anaplasmosis can be found here.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
