Female German Wirehaired Pointer, large in size.
Approx. 2.5 years old (August 2026).
Gentle soul who loves cuddles. Could live with male dogs with very slow introductions, but can't live with female dogs.
Meet Melody
Meet Melody, a gentle soul ready for her forever home. A German Wirehaired Pointer, she was most likely abandoned by hunters who couldn’t “use” her for hunting. After being taken to the pound, she was spayed and released back near the forest to survive on her own. That’s where we found her, in a very poor condition, suffering from pneumonia. Melody has since made a full recovery, and despite everything she has been through, she still trusts people.
Melody is socialised, she adores humans, loves cuddles. She has gentle nature and a loving temperament. She can live with male dogs, with slow introductions, but not other female dogs.
She is spayed, vaccinated and negative on tests.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
