Mitsa was a tiny puppy when our rescuer found her. She was about to be thrown in the rubbish bin. Mitsa is a smaller sized dog, she looks like a miniature German Shepherd. She is quite shy but when she gets used to you she is very cuddly and returns love with kisses. She grew up behind a supermarket but now needs a loving home of her own.
Mitsa has tested positive on a routine screening test for Anaplasmosis, this is a fairly common tick- borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans, it is treated with a course of 30 days of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice received. Mitsa does not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis and has received his 30 day course of treatment. There is a useful information sheet on Anaplasmosis here.
