Quinn was living outside an abandoned house in the Balkans and neighbours were threatening to call the dog catchers. He was full of fleas and starving. Quinn has now settled in well at kennels and although initially reserved, is now more confident as the days go by. He is fine with people and the other dogs and one of our wonderful volunteers regularly visits Quinn has said this about him: "Quinn is a gentle, placid dog and good with cats and dogs, he is gentle on his lead and becoming a confident little man now, not the frightened boy I first met who was practically crawling on the ground with anxieties when out. He’s absolutely beautiful and I think his only anxieties are with food in his own environment, say in his kennel, outside he’s fine with treats on a walk" In view of this we would prefer a child free home. A wonderful local behaviorist has been working with Quinn and he has been the perfect student, we just need someone to give Quinn the opportunity to settle in a home and realise he doesn't need to guard his possessions. We would be happy to support any continued training necessary one in the home environment.
