Quinn is a long termer here at BU, and is now is approximately 4 years old. He was found living outside an abandoned house in the Balkans and neighbours were threatening to call the dog catchers so our rescuers stepped in to save him. He was found full of fleas and starving. Quinn is now in foster kennels here in the UK where he has settled in well. He was initially reserved, but is now more confident as the days go by, and is fine with people and the other dogs. One of our wonderful volunteers regularly visits Quinn and this is what she says about him: "Quinn is a gentle, placid dog and good with cats and dogs, he is gentle on his lead and becoming a confident little man now, not the frightened boy I first met who was practically crawling on the ground with anxieties when out. He’s absolutely beautiful and I think his only anxieties are with food in his own environment, say in his kennel, outside he’s fine with treats on a walk" In view of this we would prefer a child free home.
