  • Meet Wendy

Wendy was determined she would become a BU dog!

As part of the spay, neuter and release programme, Wendy was spayed and then released back to the street after her recovery.  Imagine our rescuer's surprise when she turned up at work one morning in a completely different part of the town to find Wendy waiting at work for her! She has no idea how Wendy made her way there.

It was destiny and having spoken with the Admin Team we decided Wendy just needed to come on board and allow us to find her the best home!  Wendy is a stunning Posavac Hound, possibly a mix.

Wendy has tested positive on a routine screening test for Anaplasmosis, it is treated with a 30-day course of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice received.  A useful information sheet on Anaplasmosis can be found by clicking here. Wendy has received her full 30-day course of antibiotics and she does not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis.

She is fully vaccinated and spayed and great with other dogs. Wendy is not child tested.   She is a happy dog, as you can see by her smile, friendly and really wants to find her forever home.  Are you the family she is waiting for?

All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
