Axel (Bandit)

Small male (likely a Daxy mix), approx 3 years old (March 2026).
Loves humans but prefers adults and older teens.
Looking for a quieter home with another dog(s) for company.
Meet Axel
This lovely little Daxy mix is currently in foster in Cornwall and waiting for his forever home. He’s great with other dogs and will need a doggie friend or two for company.
Axel has been in the UK since October 2025. Unfortunately he’s not been able to fully settle with the children in the house so has come back into our care. He has been using the name Axel and does respond to this however his previous name was Bandit.
On walks he’s a little over excited when meeting other dogs. His foster mum thinks he’s just desperate to say hello but in typical Daxy fashion he’s quite shouty so he will need an adopter willing to work on his manners.Axel would benefit from living in a quieter home with no children or older teens as sudden can movements startle him. He would do well in a home with rural walks or areas that are less busy.
Axel is fully house trained and settles well at night. If he is with another dog he’s fine being left for short periods. He will make a lovely addition to the right household.
Axel is vaccinated, neutered and negative on tests.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
