Meet Barkley
Barkley came to the UK in 2021 but unfortunately he was returned to us requiring rehabilitation. He’s been with the Birkett Smith animal rehabilitation center since February and has done very well.
He is now seeking his special sofa.
This special sofa will be with someone who is rottweiler / doberman / GSD experienced and this is a key requirement.
A rural / semi rural pet and child free home (due to his size) is a neccessity.
He needs harnessing and muzzling on walks but he's a fab lad, has no real interest in dogs and loves his circle of trusted people.When the right home comes along his new parents will be supported in his transition by Birkett Smith and we will work with his new family as he settles in and continues his journey in life,
Barkley will need his prospective family to come and meet him at the centre to build a bond with him and learn the boundaries he needs. The Birkett Smith sanctuary is in Dorset so you will need to be fairly close or willing to travel to be able to visit a few times.Barkley is fully vaccinated and neutered.
