Approx. 1 year old (December 2025).
Playful dog who loves humans and other dogs. Would benefit from living with another dog. Can live with families who have children aged 12+.
Meet Cagney
Cagney is one of a litter of four Retriever mixes who were found abandoned together at just a few weeks old. Thankfully we were able to help and she was moved to the safety of a pension.
Now in UK Foster, Cagney is a typical young dog and enjoyed the company of her siblings when they were together, and loves humans. We think another, existing and settled dog would be good for Cagney to build her confidence.
Her foster states that, even though she hasn’t been there very long, she has been a great house guest and hasn't chewed anything other than her toys. She is very quiet and would recommend older calmer children (12+) at the moment. This may change later with confidence. She is also good on her lead and harness.
Cagney is vaccinated, neutered and negative on testing.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
