Meet Dingo
Dingo was spotted in the pound in spring 2023 by one of our Trustees. She couldn’t get him out of her head but he seemed to be coping ok in the pound and looked a good weight and in good condition at the time so sadly, with so many emergencies coming before him, BU had no reason to remove him from the pound.
However just after Christmas the Trustee spotted him again in the pound looking nothing like he was. He was painfully thin and covered in demodex, a shell of his former self. At this point the decision was made to remove him from the pound and we’ve no doubt that this has saved his life.
Now safe in the care of one of our trusted pension owners, Dingo has made a remarkable recovery. He’s regained his strength, his coat is looking healthy, and his sweet personality is shining through once again.
Dingo is medium to large in size (think small Lab, larger Springer). Aside from being totally beautiful he is described as having a calm and friendly nature, loving the company of people, and gets on well with the other dogs in the pension.
Dingo is fully vaccinated and neutered however he is not currently tested around cats or children.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
