Found wandering with his partner-in-crime, Bodie, Doyle has already overcome challenges and shown his resilience.
Medium to large in size, he’s an affectionate, gentle soul who thrives around people, especially children, and enjoys the company of other dogs.
Doyle is playful, sweet-tempered, and adores human interaction. While he’s curious about cats, he’d currently do best in a cat-free home as his foster family continues to work on his behavior with them. He is vaccinated and neutered.
Doyle tested positive on a routine screening test for Anaplasmosis. This is a fairly common tick-borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans. It is treated with a 30 day course of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice. They do not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis and have received their 30 day course of antibiotics.
Our dogs are tested for the following conditions as part of our standard testing procedure; Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Lyme Disease, Ehrlichiosis, and Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
