Meet Elvis
Love Me Tender... Love Me Forever!
Elvis is a handsome Dalmatian who is looking for a loving forever home. Elvis was found abandoned in a forest. Frightened, alone, and heartbreakingly thin, he was taken to a pound where it became clear he was also suffering from pneumonia and giardia. Thankfully, rescue came just in time. With veterinary care, good food, and lots of love, Elvis made an incredible recovery. Today he is healthy, fully recovered and ready to start the next chapter of his life.
Despite everything he has been through, Elvis has never lost his friendly nature. He is a playful young dog, especially when there's a ball involved! Elvis knows his basic commands, gets on well with other dogs, and would make a wonderful companion for a family who can offer him the love, security, and stability he has always deserved. After such a difficult start in life, all Elvis needs now is someone who simply can't help falling in love with him.
Elvis is neutered and vaccinated.
Elvis has tested positive on a routine screening test for anaplasmosis, this is a fairly common tick-borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans, it is treated with a course of 30 days of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice received. He does not show any symptoms of anaplasmosis and is receiving his 30 day course of treatment.
This is a useful information sheet on anaplasmosis. All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
