Female puppy and expected to be medium in size when fully grown.
Approx. 1 year old (December 2025).
Playful, gets on well with other dogs, cats and children.
Meet Iris
The very pretty Iris and her siblings (nine pups in total) were abandoned in a forest, and luckily one of our rescuers was alerted to them before they most certainly would have died from starvation or disease. Balkan Underdogs stepped in to help and moved the puppies to the safety of a pension where they were fed and subsequently vaccinated.
They are now looking for their forever homes. One pup was adopted in Serbia but the others are hoping for a forever home in the UK.
All dogs are incredibly playful, as they should be. They spend time daily playing with the children at the pension and they’re all used to being around cats. The girls at the pension are doing a very good job at socialising the dogs and preparing them for their new homes. The dogs are fine around other dogs too.
Iris will be spayed before coming to the UK.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
