Meet Katja
Gorgeous Katja has been in the UK for 7 years and has spent all that time adored by her adopters and being the centre of their world. Sadly, with the arrival of a newborn baby, Katja has become increasingly uncomfortable and stressed. Despite every effort, her family have made the heartbreaking decision to find her a calmer home where she can truly thrive.
Katja can be shy with new people, but once she trusts you she is loyal, sweet, and loves nothing more than belly rubs, sunshine snoozes, and being close by for companionship (and treats!). Katja enjoys quiet, short walks where she won’t be overwhelmed by too many people or dogs. She is completely housetrained and happy to snooze while you’re out for a few hours.
She is looking for a calm, child free home (or children 13 plus) with no cats. She does like her own space so a home without other dogs or calm ones would be best. She needs adopters who understand sensitive dogs and can give her time and space to decompress after visitors.
Katja is on pain medication for hip dysplasia/arthritis and does well on this medication.
Katja is currently in Linlithgow in Scotland but can be transported throughout the UK to the right home. If you’re looking for a gentle, sunshine‑loving companion and can offer a peaceful home where she feels safe, Katja may be the perfect match for you.
Katja is fully vaccinated and spayed.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
