Female dog, small in size.
Approx. 4.5 years old (February 2026).
A true lap dog but equally could walk all day. A great family dog - loves affection, is great with children, cats and other dogs.
Meet Orchid
Orchid is in foster in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Orchid is independent and resourceful, she is happy to walk all day but equally happy to chill at home. Despite her little legs she has done mountains hikes and even learned to sit quietly on paddle board!
Orchid's most important thing is love and affection. She is never happier than when curled up on your lap or chest. Orchid is good with children, is friendly with cats and other dogs, and has lived around livestock and chickens.
She is a bit of a princess and doesn’t like the rain so she needs bribery to get her to do her business in the bad weather! Orchid walks well on a lead and has good recall with her adopter, however, this should not be taken for granted and work should be done on building trust and recall with any new owner. Orchid is a fantastic little dog who will make a wonderful family member.
Orchid is vaccinated, negative on tests and spayed.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
