Saffy is a Staffy with a beautiful face and personality.
Approx. 4 years old (February 2026).
Affectionate dog who gets on well with other dogs, and can live with dog-hardy cats.
Meet Saffy
This adorable girl is Saffy and a more affectionate dog you will not find! People are her favourite thing in the world. She is also good with the other dogs and has endless patience with them. She was a firm favourite of the workers and loved to get lots of cuddles from them.
Saffy arrived at the pound when she was around 6/7 months old, with rickets and bad legs. With time and care she’s now looking wonderful but does have slightly bowed front legs which don't bother her at all. She’s been x-rayed and there’s no evidence of previous injuries. It looks like the bowing is caused by poor diet when she was a puppy and she shouldn’t have any future issues related to this. X-rays and the vet report can be supplied to any new adopter.
She is now in foster in Darlington and settling in super well into a multi-dog household, she can be a little interested in the cats although not aggressive, so dog-hardy cats only for Saffy!
Saffy totally deserves a place on someones sofa who will adore her as much as she will return that love and loyalty.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
