Sasha

Sasha is a gentle little soul, weighing just 8–9 kg and expected to stay small.  She is still full of playful puppy energy, and just beginning to discover the joys of life. She was found in the snowy Serbian mountains alongside her five siblings, all alone and under two months old, with no mum in sight. One of our kind-hearted rescuers came across them by chance during a skiing trip and brought them all to safety.

 

While her siblings are also looking for homes, we’d love to share Sasha’s story. At first, Sasha can be a little shy - she takes a few minutes to feel comfortable - but once she does, her sweet and loving nature begins to shine. In the beginning, she was very scared and would lie down and have little accidents when approached. But with gentle care and patience, she’s learning to trust and is gaining confidence every day.

 

Sasha is kind with other dogs and cats, and she’s currently living in a loving foster home in Serbia. She’s just starting to go on little walks and will soon be meeting children too, as part of her slow and steady journey toward feeling safe in the world. She’s now healthy and ready to find a warm, patient home where she can continue to blossom.

 

Sasha is vaccinated, spayed and ready for her new home.

 

All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
