Zeus
Large male Retriever.
Approx. 18 months old (March 2026).
Playful dog who loves humans, but can be a bit boisterous, and gets on well with other dogs. Zeus can be homed to families with children aged 12+.
Meet Zeus
Zeus and his friend, fellow Retriever Apollo, were found abandoned in a cemetery where they were rescued and taken to our lovely rescuer’s pension.
Zeus is a lovely big friendly boy, who can get over excited and a little boisterous when looking for cuddles and attention - being a little mouthy, wanting to nibble on clothes, toys etc, so we are recommending a home with children 12+ only.
Apollo is dog friendly but he is very greedy, his rescuer is working with him on his food manners but this training will need to be continued once homed - a classic, greedy retriever!
Both Retrievers live around cats - they don’t harm them, but they can be a bit high-energy so we'd only recommend them to be homed with dog-hardy cats.
Zeus is neutered, fully vaccinated and negative on tests.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
