Large male Retriever.
Approx. 18 months old (March 2026).
Playful dog who loves humans, but can be timid at first, and gets on well with other dogs. Apollo can be homed to families with children aged 12+.
Meet Apollo
Apollo and his friend, fellow Retriever Zeus, were found abandoned in a cemetery where they were rescued and taken to our lovely rescuer’s pension.
Apollo is a lovely big friendly boy, with lots of energy. He is more timid than his bold buddy, Zeus. Both dogs are full of fun and energy, but Apollo is definitely a little more chilled! Both Retrievers live around cats - they don’t harm them, but they can be a bit high-energy so we'd only recommend them to be homed with dog-hardy cats.
Apollo is dog friendly but he is very greedy, his rescuer is working with him on his food manners but this training will need to be continued once homed - a classic, greedy retriever!
Apollo is neutered, fully vaccinated and negative on tests.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
