Meet Aya
Aya was found in the bushes by our wonderful rescuer. She was was with her sister Shiva, and brothers Odin and Kofi, who are also looking for a forever home. They all look very similar but Aya has long white socks and an adorable white heart on the back of her neck.
Pension life does not suit Aya and her siblings and she would much prefer a quieter, more relaxed home where she can truly be herself. She can be nervous around people, but with those she knows she tends to sneak up to them, seeking out love and attention. Aya is good with older children. Aya is a laid back girl and, while she gets on very well with other dogs, she is often found chilling out watching the world go by rather than charging around.
Aya was stung on her tail by a wasp or bee and had an allergic reaction resulting her tail having to be amputated. Thankfully she is fully healed and has no lasting effects.
Aya has not been tested with cats.
Aya has been fully vaccinated and will be spayed before travel.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
