Barkley

My name is Barkley and I live in a pension in Serbia.
 
I came to the UK in 2021 but I struggled to adapt to home life. I have these things called “thresholds” that I have to live within so that I feel safe, secure and happy.
 
I tried so hard in the UK and my friends at Balkan Underdogs arranged for specialist support to help me settle.  Whilst this helped a little, life in a family home was all too much for me and they knew that I would be happiest back in a pension.
 
I am now thriving again and back to my old ‘loveable rogue’ self. I can often be spotted doing my favourite thing; chilling and relaxing!
