Male dog, medium in size.
Approx. 3 years old (September 2026).
Friendly and affectionate boy who loves cuddles. He gets on well with cats and other dogs, and is particularly sweet with smaller dogs.
Meet Ben
Ben had spent his whole life living in a flat with his owner. Sadly, when his owner moved away for seasonal work, Ben wasn’t taken along. Instead, after three years of being someone’s dog, he was simply put out onto the street. Thankfully, Ben was found and brought to safety. He is now living in a pension, but after being accustomed to the comfort and companionship of a home, he is understandably finding this change difficult.
Ben is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves adults and especially enjoys cuddles. He is good with cats and other dogs and is particularly lovely with smaller dogs. Ben can walk on a lead, and his rescuers will continue helping him practise while he waits for a family of his own. Among his photographs and videos are lovely little glimpses of the life Ben once knew. There is a photograph of him sitting in a car and a video of him sweetly giving his paw. They remind us that Ben has previously shared everyday life with someone and knows how special that companionship can be. Ben has already lost the only home he knew. Now he needs someone who will offer him the love, security and lifelong commitment he deserved the first time.
Ben is neutered, vaccinated and negative on testing.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
