A gorgeous boy who is a little shy initially, but is longing to be in his own home again.
Meet Jimmy
Sweet Jimmy and his sister Bobi (also available for adoption) were owned by an elderly person who ended up in hospital. Sadly, the family decided to take the dogs to the pound rather than keep them. Jimmy has since been moved from a government pound to a pension thanks to kind sponsors.
He gets along with the other dogs in the enclosure, and is fine with cats.
He’s a little shy with people but warms up when he sees treats! He is just longing for his forever home.
Jimmy is vaccinated and neutered.
Jimmy tested positive on a routine screening test for Anaplasmosis. This is a fairly common tick-borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans. It is treated with a 30 day course of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice. Jimmy does not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis and has received his 30 day course of antibiotics. All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
