Medium Male

3 and a half years old (May 2024)

Good with people, children, other dogs and cats

  • Meet Maks

Maks was rescued from a pound in Serbia and was very skinny with a leg injury that hadn't received any treatment.  This meant he wasn’t using it.  Unfortunately a vet examination determined he had nerve damage to it which was possibly caused by a bite from another dog.  So sadly he had to have the right front leg amputated.

He is now fully recovered from his amputation and in turn has been going for walks and is used to walking on a lead.

He's living alongside cats, other dogs and a young child. He loves his small human lots and ignores the cats. His foster says he’s a wonderful boy who will make a fabulous family pet.

All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
