Meet Norman
This handsome and courageous boy Norman was found in a local kindergarten yard, thankfully the teachers called one of our lovely rescuers to help him. Sadly she found him in a terrible condition, bitten all over his body.
Despite the terrible injuries, old fractures on both legs, two FHO operations and a long recovery (more details on application), Norman survived and is now looking for his forever home.
Norman is a wonderful dog, loves the company of people, other dogs and is good with cats. Norman also likes to swim in the river and likes to go for walks. He is described as mild-mannered; he really is a dog to be desired.
Norman is neutered, vaccinated and negative on tests
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
Norman tested positive on his routine screening test for Anaplasmosis. This is a fairly common tick-borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans. It is treated with a 30 day course of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice. They do not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis and have received their 30 day course of antibiotics.
