Santi

Santi is a beautiful example of a Balkan hound, a breed known for making wonderful house guests. Likely cast aside by a hunter, he was struggling to survive on the streets when he was found with a serious infection in his paws that had left him unable to walk.

 

Fortunately, Santi was rescued and received urgent medical care at a veterinary clinic. After a few days, he moved to a pension where his recovery continued. Thanks to his amazing sponsor, he is now doing well, his paws are healing, and he’s thriving.

 

Described as a gentle, sweet-natured dog by both his rescuer and the pension owner, Santi adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s affectionate, cheerful, and playful without being overly active. A true cuddle bug, he loves to listen and will be easy to train. He can be homed with children over 8 years old.

 

All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021). vaccinated, and tested for Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Lyme Disease, Ehrlichiosis, and Brucellosis.
